Mossy Ridge Logworks is a log home building company that provides custom built, hand crafted log and timber homes. We are a small family owned business located just North of Manning, Alberta, a town of 1,100 people. We build year round in our 8000 sq ft. heated shop. We are seeking a detail oriented log craftsman to relocate to the Manning area and enjoy everything the North has to offer. This is a permanent full time position with plenty of opportunity for advancement. Wages for this position will vary on experience. 

Requirements include:

-Minimum 5 years log building experience. Full scribe experience is a must. Post and beam, and timber frame experience is an asset. 

- Proficient at reading blueprints/drawings and specifications.

- Sketchup pro experience is an asset.

- Ability to uphold our high standards of quality craftsmanship on all types of log and timber projects.

- Maintain shop environment, tools and equipment.

- Must be able to travel out of town for house set ups.

- Must have valid drivers license as our shop is located a short drive from Manning.

- Must be able to work at heights.

- Forklift experience and sawmill experience an asset.

- Experience in compound joinery roof systems would be an asset.
